Back to my relaxing spot for another while after finishing my errands in Midvalley. I'm officially broke! But I don't care eh eh eh eh eh! Last night I had a horrible night. Too many nightmares and I was trying my very best to calm down and sleep. The aircond was being such a pain and continued with loud rattling noise the whole freaking night. I only managed to sleep properly about 5am. Then after that, I schedule myself to wake up at 11.30am so I could be at the uni by 1pm. Tet Woei was being an "angel" and he woke me up at 10am. Aideerr... oh well, at least I get to finish some errands at home before head out, so it's all good! While I'm still in a good mood now, let's have a good movie review! Watched this with Iona last night at Pavilion and it was superb!
I'll google the synopsis for you all before proceeding: The hot-headed young D'Artagnan along with three former legendary but
now down on their luck Musketeers must unite and defeat a beautiful
double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne
and engulfing Europe in war. (credits to IMDB)
The whole movie lasted for about 2 hours and frankly the first few minutes were rather boring. It always happen that way for me and I only managed to wake up after 15 minutes of the movie. I mean for movies that are very much conversation based. This movie is a movie that is definitely best for ladies and their men. It can be considered an action-filled movie as you can see tonnes of swords fighting and kicks in the butts and of course some fashion to be considered as a joke to the men. I mean guys in high-heeled Oxford shoes? You will know what I mean if you give ample notice to the King. They also have pretty ladies to oogle at. Did I mention Milla Jovovich is in it? Absolutely gorgeous! Besides that, the funny existence of a floating warship is something you might see out of some video games.
For the ladies, enough said, hot men!! I have to say I worship the wonderful array of men in this movie. Orlando Bloom alone is enough to keep us fidgety on our seats! But the rest of the musketeers are worthy our attention minus the funny Medieval outfits! Logan Lerman (from Percy Jackson) looked absolutely stunning as usual with his scruffy hairdo and pretty blue eyes. But my personal favourite would be Luke Evans (Aramis). I almost mistaken him as Orlando Bloom. With all these pretty people in the movie and really state of the art computer graphics, it's hard to resist this movie. Personally, thanks to this movie, I was wondering how would it feel like to live in those times where I have long puffy dresses and corsets to wear. So as in short, it is a good movie to watch with loved ones, or the opposite sex! It's like whiff of fresh air with enough hints of laughter!
